When political atmosphere was very intimating, terrifying, scary there emerged a young enthusiastic and energetic Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA). As a young man I opted to join politics and furthermore not any other political party than the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to help wrestle power from the then ruling government.

I started off as the Chairman for Concern Citizens Association with other members as Mr. Victor Owusu Jnr (Member of Ashanti region council of elders NPP) and Hon. Yaw Anhwere former MP Atwima Nwabiagya South (i.e. mobilized citizens in Ashanti region) to press for demand for development of citizens in Ashanti region and beyond. This enabled me (COKA) touch base with most citizens old and young and explain development better
To begin with actual political activism and serving the the political party directly I began to serve as Ward Organizer now polling station for many years for Subin Constituency- Amakom Division School.
